Maybelline Monday: Taupe Temptress eyeshadow quad

Hey Everyone!

I'm SO sorry that this is so late! 5 days to be exact! The only excuse I have is that this week was the last week of the quarter, and taking IB classes, that can only mean one thing: stress, stress, and more stress! School aside, I'm very happy with the way this look came out, as well as the pictures, so there's lots of them, enjoy!

What I Used:

- Too Faced Shadow Insurance

- Maybelline Taupe Temptress Eyeshadow Quad

- Maybelline Gel liner in brown

- Maybelline Great Lash Mascara

Steps for creating this look:

1) Apply Too Faced Shadow insurance all over your lid and around your eye.

2) Brush the 3rd color in the quad (light brown) onto the inner 2/3 of your lid and then the 2nd color (light pink) onto the outer third. Blend those two together.

3) Using a crease brush, apply the 4th and darkest color in the quad to your crease and blend it towards your inner corner. Then with a fluffy blending brush, blend out the harsh edges to smooth gradients.

4) Brush on Maybelline gel liner in brown to your upper lashline, and lower waterline, creating a slight wing at the corner. Then apply mascara and you're good to go!

Halloween look

I sat down at my makeup table with halloween on my mind last night and this is what came out!

Not really sure what its supposed to be, but I like it!

Maybelline Monday: Sapphire Siren Eyeshadow Quad

Hey Everyone!

Here's my latest installment of Maybelline Monday using the Sapphire Siren quad!

What I used:

- NYX eyeshadow base

- Maybelline Sapphire Siren eyeshadow quad

- Maybelline define-a-line eyeliner in blackest black

- Maybelline Great Lash Mascara

Steps:

1: Spread NYX eyeshadow base all over the eyelid.

2: Apply the teal color all over your lid, and the dark blue in the crease and blend the dark blue out so there's no harsh lines.

3: Use an angle brush to apply the sparkly black to the upper lash line, and define-a-line

eyeliner to the waterline.

4: Apply the shimmery white color in the eyeshadow quad right above the crease color as a

brow highlight.

5: Finally, apply Maybelline's Great Lash Mascara to your lashes and enjoy!

Maybelline Monday: Mad For Mauve Eyeshadow Quad

Hey Everyone!

Here's my second Maybelline Monday look, using the Mad for Mauve eyeshadow quad!

I really really wish I had time for some more complicated, creative looks like I used to do, but sadly I have tons of homework to do and it's very hard to fit makeup into my schedule =(

whenever I have some free time I'll be sure to do one of those though, my ideas are piling up in my sketch book so I have lots to do!

- Maybelline Mad for Mauve eyeshadow quad

- Maybelline gel liner in eggplant

- Maybelline great lash mascara

I used great lash mascara today for the first time and it is my new favorite mascara!! It works SO perfectly for me and is the ONLY mascara that actually works on my bottom lashes, which is something that I've always wanted! :D

Maybelline Monday: Give me Gold eyeshadow quad

Hey Everyone!

This is the first of a series I'll do every monday. Maybelline recently sent me lots of their products and I'm looking forward to trying them all out, so this will be my way of sharing when I do =) Don't worry I'll also be posting my usual makeup looks as often as I can, which, unfortunately, is not very often because I'm in my junior year and loaded with homework. =(

Anyway, here's the Give me Gold eyeshadow quad:

And here's the look I did:

What I used:

- NYX eyeshadow base

- Maybelline Give me Gold quad

- Maybelline Define-a-Line eyeliner

- Maybelline Gel Liner in brown

- Maybelline XXL Extensions Mascara

What I did:

1 - Put eyeshadow base all over the lid and blend it out above

2 - From the Maybelline quad, apply the light yellow color to the lid, and the gold color in the crease. Use the dark brown in the outer corner and near the upper and lower lashline, blend slightly.

3 - Apply the brown Maybelline gel liner to the upper and lower lashline, creating a small wing at the edge of the eye.

4 - Use the white eyeshadow to highlight your brow and inner corner

5 - Apply Define-a-Line black eyeliner to the waterline, and XXL Extensions Mascara to the lashes
